Wind Band



Describes a relationship in the anguish of disintegration and meltdown, with a brave face presented to the bitter end. The central image is of pall bearers carrying a coffin, an allegory for the death of the relationship.



In memory of a dear friend who died of cancer. We shared many a formative conversation. I improvised the Cello line over a piece I was working on when I received the news of his death.




Based on the same music as Two Ladies, with a completely different instrumentation and and rhythm (like a more frantic scene from the same film).



Plenty to keep a young wind band busy, like attending a Mediaeval Fayre!
